Hello, my dears, I have been looking for an original idea and have found a very interesting one, I have never heard about crocheted sponges and I think it would be awesome because the materials are natural and it will be very useful. Look at those ones in the pictures, they look fantastic with brilliant design. On the link above there is a video tutorial in which it is clearly explained how to create those beautiful ones easily. The video tutorial also contains the written pattern, so if you prefer to crochet with a pattern, you can use it too.
